About the Staff

 

 

Dr. Kali Edwards was born and raised in Watervliet, Michigan. She obtained her Bachelors of Science from Alma College and prior to starting her Doctorate worked as a nanny in the Netherlands. Upon completion of her Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, Dr. Kali moved back to southwest, Michigan to fulfill a goal of helping the community she grew up in become a healthier, happy place to live.   Dr. Kali has been very involved in learning various techniques and styles of chiropractic. She has taken an interest in low force adjusting and has seen amazing results. She has spent time attending nutrition, wellness, and lifestyle seminars as well as physical rehabilitation. In addition to outside seminars and lectures, Dr. Kali severed on Chiropractic Academic Standards committees, worked as a Physical Therapy and Diagnosis student teacher and obtained the most prestigious chiropractic scholarship available Vogt Leadership Scholarship during school.  In her free time, Dr. Kali rock climbs and shows horses hunters & jumpers and co-coaches a vaulting (gymnastic on horseback) team. She’s involved with the children’s summer camp, Cedar Lodge, her family owns and operates.  She spends a lot of time with her dog Hawkeye enjoying the natural beauty of Southwest Michigan.   Dr. Kali Edwards

 Brenda - Massage Therapist

Brenda Sparow is a certified massage therapist. She has been practicing Professional Therapeutic and Wellness Massage for over 10 years. Brenda has been a member of the Healing Center wellness team for over 5 of those years.

Brenda practices various styles and techniques of massage to aid the needs and types of individuals she has seeking her care. She works with the individual to figure out what form of massage will be most compatible and beneficial for the individual. She utilizes deep tissue, trigger point, neuromuscular, Swedish, cranial/sacral, pregnancy, relaxation & healing, injury & recovery, and general wellness massage techniques.

Brenda lives in the Southwest, Michigan area and spends the majority of her free time watching her grandchildren. She also enjoys paleo-cooking and learning new ways to better treat herself inside and out!
